Classes Aren't Just Beneficial for Children

Many adults shudder at the thought of having music lessons in a class with understandable concerns about embarrassment, or being treated like you're back at school. But this couldn't be further from the truth.

We do teach adult classes differently to our programs designed for children, but you will still have fun, enjoy yourself and who knows? Maybe meet some new friends along the way who also share an interest in music.

The benefits associated with our child classes, in terms of learning capability enhancement and personal growth are also applicable to adults, though in varying degrees. But adults can benefit from music classes in the following ways:

Therapeutic

Music is therapeutic in nature. Learning and playing an instrument provides a way of constructively channeling our energy and emotions. It puts us in touch with our feelings, and provides that much needed break from our daily routine.

Confidence & Self-esteem

Music performance teaches us how to cope with and management performance anxiety. It literally teaches you how to cope when performing under scrutiny, and helps us gain confidence and self-esteem

Ensemble

Ensemble performance teaches teamwork and cooperation and also provides that unique experience of feeling connected with others and part of something bigger.

Lifelong Love of Music

Music lessons will help you develop a lifelong appreciation and love of music, and a good foundation in practical and theoretical aspects which will enable you to further explore and appreciate its beauty and complexities.
